About Journal

The Journal of Medical Education and Practice (JMEP) serves as the official medical education publication for the Health Professions branch (established in 2023) of the Egyptian Medical Association. Operating as a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, its objective is to advance and disseminate top-notch research and innovation in health professions education throughout the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Spanning a wide array of subjects including curriculum development, instructional methods, assessment, faculty training, accreditation, leadership, and interprofessional education, JMEP also encourages submissions exploring the influence of culture, diversity, and social responsibility on medical education. Original research, systematic reviews, case studies, and various other scholarly contributions addressing the distinctive challenges and opportunities within health profession education both regionally and globally are encouraged. The journal is dedicated to facilitating collaboration and dialogue among health professions educators, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, not only within the region but also globally.
